The Lion King Rescue the Animals special event for the International version of the game is here! We have put together this page to help explain the event and give some helpful tips and tricks about how to win the event!

To start the event you have to select the event "card". This is done the same way as selecting a Bingo card by pressing the cards button in the lower left hand corner of the Weekly Ranking Screen. Once you click that if you are currently playing a bingo card you can click the button in the lower left that says "Lion King" to switch to the event card. Once you do that, if you haven't already started the event card you need to click the big Start Button on the card. There will be 24 different cards during the event. The event will end the night of February 23rd. When you complete each card you will get a prize

Once you have started the event you will have event cards. On each event card there will be a number of spaces that are darker than the other spaces. In each space there is a hyena hiding and in some spaces there will be an animal you have to rescue. When you click on a space you will get a mission to scare away the hyena in that space. If that space also has an animal you will rescue the animal if you scare away the hyena. You clear a card by rescuing 1 or more animals (depending on the card)

The mission vary but are very similar to a lot of Bingo card missions and include things like Score a certain number of points, Clear a certain number of Tsums, or Enter Fever a certain number of times. The missions get progressively harder as you move through the event. One nice thing about this event is that if you can't manage to complete the mission you will still do some damage to the hyena if you are able to get close and after a few times (normally 4 times per hyena shown for that mission which is normally 1-3 hyenas) you will still scare them away. You have to scare away the hyena before you can get the next mission. In addition the 3 new Lion King Tsum Tsums get a bonus if you use them as "My Tsum"

There are 23 regular cards for this event and 1 bonus final card. You can track your progress and see all the animals you have rescued by clicking on the arrow at the bottom left of your current event card.

Overall the event fairly straight forward and since you will do damage to the hyenas and eventually scare them away even if you can't complete the mission you can still progress through the event even if you can't quite complete every mission:
