A look at the new Tsum Tsum Lights and Sounds Plush

Recently a new type of Tsum Tsum plush has started to appear at Toys R Us and of course we had to get some and take a look!

These new plushes are called "Lights and Sounds" because their cheeks light up and they make noises when you squeeze them. They are similar to but, not the same as, light up Tsum Tsums that were released in the UK, Hong Kong, and elsewhere last year.

Currently there are 8 different characters available: Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, Donald, Daisy, Marie, and Stitch; however, for some reason Daisy seems to be much harder to find than the others.

Each of them come in their own box so first lets take a look at one of the boxes:

One thing to notice on the bottom of the box is that the batteries for these Tsum Tsums are replaceable! This is great because the other light up Tsum Tsums didn't have replaceable batteries so once they stopped working they just become "normal" Tsum Tsums.

Size wise they are bigger than a mini Tsum Tsum; however, smaller than the "Small" size that comes in the Subscription boxes. Here is a size comparison (The middle Tsum Tsum is the Lights and Sounds Mickey with a Mini on top and the subscription Small on the bottom)

Of course since this is a "Lights and Sounds" Tsums who have to wonder what lights up and what they sound like. Here is a short video showing Stitch's lights and sounds:

Cute eh? All the Tsum Tsums have the same sound effects which is cute but it would have been nice to have a bit of variety.

Overall these are very cute and a good addition to the Tsum Tsum plush collection! Currently they seem to only be available at Toys R Us; however, I expect that will change before too long!

I will leave you with some pictures of each of the different characters:

What do you think of these? Will you be trying to collect them?
